Complete Tire Services:

Free Tire Inspection

Regular tire inspections are important for safety, fuel economy, and driving comfort. Here’s what you should look for:

  • Cuts, cracks, or splits in the tread and sidewalls
  • Tread depth (see the manufacturer’s information for proper tread depth)
  • Uneven wear
  • Bent or cracked rims

Bring your vehicle to Tire Factory anytime for a free tire inspection or air check. If there’s a problem, we’ll do our best to fix it. And if your tires need replacing, we offer a great selection of the brands and sizes your vehicle’s manufacturer recommends at competitive prices. Just ask your Tire Factory expert for a suggestion.

Free Air Pressure Check

For safety’s sake, improved gas mileage, and optimum tire life, maintaining proper air pressure in your tires is essential. We’ll check to make sure your tires are not under- nor over-inflated. Under-inflation causes increased tread wear and generates excessive heat, which can reduce tire life. It also reduces your fuel economy by increasing rolling resistance—soft tires make your vehicle work harder. Over-inflation is also detrimental to the tire. Too much air pressure causes the center of the tread to bear the majority of the car’s weight, which leads to faster deterioration and uneven wear. Any kind of uneven wear will shorten the lifespan of your tires.

Tire Rotation

For maximum performance and tire life, we recommend a tire rotation every 5,000 miles. Regular tire rotation can reduce wear, improve fuel efficiency, and save you money by extending the time before your tires need to be replaced. At Tire Factory, this service includes a complete safety inspection. First, we remove the tires from the vehicle, check for unusual wear or damage, and then reinstall the tires to the appropriate new position, with wheels torqued to the proper value, according to the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Flat Tire Repair

The tire will be dismounted and inspected. It will then be repaired or replaced, whichever is appropriate. Repair of the tire can be accomplished in the following manner (ranked in order of damage complexity): a vulcanizing plug, a patch, or an inner tube. The new or repaired tire will be remounted and balanced.

Tire Mounting and Balancing

Mounting and balancing car tires requires special tools and an experienced technician to do the job right. When you buy new tires, we’ll mount them on the rims safely and accurately and without damaging them. Proper mounting and balancing improves your vehicle performance, safety, and good mileage. It is our policy to charge for the original tire balance.

Nitrogen Tire Fill

Now more and more Tire Factory locations are offering a nitrogen tire filling service. This new technology is gaining in popularity as an alternative to oxygen-filled tires. Together with oxygen, nitrogen is a component of the air we breathe. However, this odorless, non-toxic gas has a larger molecule than oxygen so it cannot escape as easily through porous material such as a rubber tire wall. A tire filled with a higher percentage of nitrogen leaks at a much slower rate than one filled with oxygen. The benefits of nitrogen-filled tires include:

  • Maintains Proper Inflation 3-4 Times Longer
  • Fuel Savings
  • Increased Safety
  • Longer Tire Life
  • Superior Handling
  • Decreased Wheel Corrosion
